Frequency Separation Retouching in Adobe Photoshop

You can check detail tutorial link at: https://youtu.be/mtR_agSW2Zw Take two copies of original layer 'Blur' and 'Detail' Turn off 'detail' layer Go > filter >blur > Guassian blur: Select radius around '5'px Turn on 'Detail' layer Go>image>apply image, apply following settings: Change blend mode to 'Linear light' Select 'blur' layer and choose smudge tool Select both 'blur' & 'Detail' layers and press (ctrl/cmd + E) Add (black) solid color adjustment layer Change blend mode to ‘ soft light’ select brush tool with 100% opacity, 100% flow Select layer mask and make sure foreground color is black, Use it on face Add 'color balance' adjustment layer Under 'midtones' add red & yellow(22,-22) Add 'exposure' adjustment laye

Frequency Separation Retouching includes following steps:

Take two copies of your original image
Rename them blur and texture
Turn off above(texture) layer
Go to second layer (blur layer)
Go> filter> blur> guassian blur
Select blur to around 5 px.
Now again select your texture layer
Go> image> apply image
Add following settings Select blur layer, select blend mode ‘subtract’, scale: ‘2’, offset: ‘128’.
Change blend mode to ‘linear light’
Select blur layer
Select Lasso tool(L)
Set feather to 70px.
Select small area on face
Go> filter> Blur> Guassian Blur
Add radius until skin looks smooth
Repeat process on whole face
If you want to edit textures Select ‘stamp tool’
Select ‘current layer’ and start copy and paste.
Compare you are succeed.
